I wish Learning Express had been around when I was worrying about taking the GRE years ago! It would have been great to not only take a test that would be very similar to the one I had to take online but also included the answers immediately at the end with the explanations of why the answers were incorrect. This information is also saved so that you can go back and review it. This is a much better way to learn how the tests work compared to the old books. Not to mention that at the libraries, the test books are often 'lost'.
The self pace course I tried was good. The overview at the beginning stated the highlights then each section too me through a new piece with more detail and the information I entered was saved to the end so that I could see what it all looked like. The e-book has some great information but I am glad I am not planning to use the whole thing right now. It would get tedious to read 300+ pages on the computer. I need to look into the compatibility with and iPad or reader for this to be more flexible for me.

State library challange 1
World Book Encyclopedia for kids.
This is one of my favorite resources to use with library classes. I like that there are links directly from the kids version to the Student and Advanced so that kids don't have to start all over with a new search. For student research I like the 'citiations' sections at the bottom and that they are formatted correctly for them. For use in classes I like the amount of pictures and videos that are included and the links to primary sources that are in the Advanced pages. I often use the 'compare' places on the Kids page. When a state or country comes up in a story or project many students find it interesting to compare that place to South Dakota.
